Why artists apply
Visibility that travels
Artists apply because publication gives the work a credible object to circulate, share, and be remembered by beyond the first glance.
A European context
KULTURA places artists inside projects made in Europe and about Europe, alongside other voices working through the same cultural questions.
Art with a public life
Submitting is a way to help art move outward: into readers' hands, conversations, shelves, studios, and future references.
Print still matters
For artists who value physical media, a book gives the work texture, permanence, and a form that can be held, collected, and returned to.
All KULTURA editions are published in English. Our correspondence with artists is in English.
